Sampling and Bulk Order Support
Small sample trials and large bulk orders are supported. Physical samples allow you to review the button’s appearance, dimensions and suitability for the intended garment before confirming bulk production specifications.
Custom Clothing Buttons Specifications
If any specifications change after confirmation, the applicable minimum order quantity and production schedule should be reviewed again before the order proceeds.
Custom Clothing Buttons for Apparel Applications

Shirts & Blouses
Shirts and blouses generally use relatively small, closely spaced buttons. The button diameter, thickness and profile should be confirmed against the garment placket and finished buttonhole.
Knitwear & Cardigans
Buttons for knitwear should be selected according to the finished buttonhole, knitted structure and stability of the button band. Excessive button weight may pull or distort softer knitted fabrics.
Dresses, Skirts & Trousers
Buttons may provide functional closure or decorative detailing on dresses, skirts and trousers. Size, profile and weight should be coordinated with the garment fabric and placement.
Suits & Blazers
Buttons for suits and blazers contribute to both garment closure and formal styling. The button structure should provide suitable clearance for the fabric without affecting the drape of the garment.
Jackets, Coats & Outerwear
Jackets and coats commonly require larger or more prominent buttons than shirts. Fabric thickness, button clearance, attachment support and buttonhole construction should be reviewed together.
Denim, Uniforms & Workwear
Jeans buttons, rivets and other suitable fastening components can be developed for jeans, denim jackets, uniforms and workwear. The selected component must match the garment construction, fabric layers and required assembly method.
Clothing Button Size Guide
Clothing button sizes are commonly specified in millimetres or lignes (L). Use this guide as an initial reference when selecting buttons for your garment.

How to Measure a Clothing Button
Measure a round button across the widest point of its face. For non-round buttons, provide both the overall length and width. Thickness, hole spacing, shank height and back construction should be specified separately.
Choosing the Right Button Size
Consider the garment type, fabric weight, button position, buttonhole dimensions and construction. A correct diameter may still be unsuitable if the profile, thickness or shank height does not match the garment.
