Leather Closures Specifications
Two Types of Custom Leather Closures For Clothing
Choose between toggle-and-loop and buckle fastenings according to your garment structure and intended visual effect.

Leather Toggle Closures
Structure: Toggle Bar + Loop
Mounting: Two Sew-On Tabs
Key Measurements: Closed Length, Tab Size, Loop Opening & Toggle Size
Custom Details: Tab Shape, Loop Style, Toggle Component, Colour, Stitching & Logo
Applications: Duffle Coats, Jackets, Cardigans & Knitwear
Custom leather toggle closures use an elongated toggle and flexible loop instead of a conventional buttonhole. Their broad sew-on tabs frame the fastening and create a recognizable duffle-coat detail. The loop length, toggle size and tab shape can be coordinated with the garment thickness and intended appearance.
Leather Buckle Closures
Structure: Frame-and-Prong Buckle + Straps
Mounting: Two Sew-On Tabs
Key Measurements: Closed Length, Strap Width, Buckle Size, Hole Spacing & Adjustment Range
Custom Details: Tab Shape, Buckle Shape, Hardware Finish, Colour, Stitching & Logo
Applications: Coats, Jackets, Collar Tabs & Fashion Outerwear
Custom leather buckle closures use a frame-and-prong buckle with a punched strap, allowing the garment to fasten at different positions. The exposed buckle creates a more structured hardware accent than a toggle closure. Strap width, hole spacing, buckle shape and finish determine the adjustment range and final appearance.

Your Reliable Leather Closures Supplier And Manufacturer
Material Selection for Real Wear Conditions
Material selection begins with the garment’s end use, friction points and care method. We use these details to reduce the risk of premature peeling, cracking or surface damage.
Matched Closure Geometry
For toggle closures, we match the toggle size to the loop opening. Buckle width, strap holes and closed length are coordinated with the required adjustment range.
Garment-Ready Sewing Details
To support garment sewing, we develop the tab dimensions, stitch lines and backing areas around the fabric and installation position. This is especially important for thick coats and layered outerwear.
Sample Approval Before Bulk Production
Before bulk production, we prepare a finished sample for checking placement, appearance, opening action and material compatibility. The approved specifications then become the production reference.
